Treasure hunting is a great way to combine exercise with a potentially profitable hobby. There are several clubs in the area that sponsor weekly treasure hunts, or you can go out on your own to see what you can find. In addition to the metal detectors we carry, we also have gold panning supplies, ranging from a full kit to single pans.

We carry the two industry leaders in metal detectors, Garrett and Whites.

Garrett started marketing metal detectors in 1964. In addition to their hobby line, they are also know for producing security detectors used in most airports, as well as major sporting events, such as the 2010 Winter Olympics. We carry a range of their products, from the hobby level Ace 150 Treasure Hunter up to their more advanced detector, the GTI 2500. We also carry accessories, from bags, books and coil covers to their Pro-Pointer.

White's began making metal detectors in 1959, after several years of building Geiger counters. They have gone on to become one of the world's largest makers of hobby and industrial metal detectors. As with Garrett, we carry several of their detectors, from the hobby level Prizm II up to the top of the line, full color display Spectra V3. As with Garrett, we deal directly with the manufacturer, and can order any item currently in either of their catalogs if it is an item we normally don't carry.
